Robert Dean (Bob) Parrish was born July 4, 1944, to William (Bill) and Katherine (Kate) (Stephens) Parrish, at home in Tecumseh, NE, and passed away November 15, 2020, in Lincoln, NE. He was baptized and confirmed at Tecumseh Methodist Church.

He graduated Tecumseh High School in 1962. After, he went to work in Home Stake Gold Mine in Lead, SD.

He married his high school sweetheart, Karen (Rosakrans) Parrish in 1965. They have two children, Jill (Tom) Thomssen, and Jeff Parrish, all of Lincoln, NE. Four grandchildren, Nick Thomssen, of Lincoln, NE, and Emma Thomssen, of Marshall, MN, Britany Parrish and Nathan Parrish, both of Lincoln, NE, and one great-granddaughter, Oaklynn. Sister, JoAnn Miller, brother, Jerry (Margaret) Parrish. Many nieces and nephews.

He was a proud journeyman ironworker for Local 21 Omaha since 1970, working mainly in Omaha and Lincoln areas, retiring in May of 2004.

He owned and operated Fifth Street Mix, in Tecumseh for 10 years.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, and going to casinos. He loved watching his grandkids in their various sports.

He is preceded in death by both parents, parents-in-law, Leonard & Lee Rosakrans, brothers-in-law, Orville Miller and Tom Rockwell, and sisterin-law, Sandra Rockwell.
