Dr. Keith W. Shuey, 84, of Tecumseh, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 in Auburn, Nebraska. He was born September 5, 1939 to Willis and Erma (Steiner) Shuey on the family farm near Crab Orchard. He graduated from Lewiston High School in 1957. He attended University of Nebraska-Lincoln for 3 years before being accepted to University of Nebraska Medical School in Omaha where he graduated in 1964. Keith fulfilled a 1-year surgical internship at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska where he met a young nursing student named Bonnie.

Ron F. Holtgrew was born April 3, 1961 to Bill and Helen (Wylie) Holtgrew in Wayne, Nebraska. Ron graduated in 1979 from Winside High School. He enjoyed working on and racing motorcycles in his youth. He married Kim Kay on Sept 5, 1981.

Porfirio (Por) Caldera Diaz, 80, of Sterling, was born on May 29, 1943 in Nicaragua to Porfirio and Nelly Diaz. He passed away on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at his home.

Passed away December 25, 2023 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 90 years, 7 months and 15 days. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m.

March 27, 1940 - March 29, 2024 Elaine Meta Rebecca (Brockhoff) Hild was born to Harry and Anna (Ludwig) Brockhoff on March 27, 1940 at home on her family farm near Avoca, Nebraska. Elaine was baptized in the Lutheran faith by Reverend Bergtrasser on April 21,1940 and confirmed by Reverend Bracher in May 1953 at the First Lutheran Church in Avoca.

Bruce C. Gerking, 80 of Burr, passed away on March 3, 2024, at his home. He was born on October 30, 1943, to Charles & Evelyn (Spanjer) Gerking in Tecumseh and graduated from Cook High School. On May 1, 1966, he married the love of his life, Nancy Ellig, at the Hope Lutheran Church in Burr.

August 6, 1965 - February 14, 2024 Thomas A. Weber, age 58, passed peacefully alongside his family on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at Bryan West Medical Center in Lincoln.

December 1, 1951 - February 9, 2024 Joyce Ann (Ottemann) Badertscher was born to Mervin and Lila (Bohling) Ottemann on December 1, 1951. She was baptized and confirmed at the Martin Luther Lutheran Church, rural Johnson, Nebraska.
