Deloris Marie (Holthus) Chizek was born at rural Elk Creek, Nebraska, on March 13, 1936, to John and Frieda (Lampe) Holthus. She received her education at Long Branch schools. Dee passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at her home in Cuba, Kansas, due to pancreatic cancer.

Marjorie Ann Harrah Drennan, age 90, of Springfield, Mo., formerly of Nebraska City, died May 28, 2020 at her home. Marjorie was born June 2, 1929 to John Robert Harrah and Kathryn Ollena DeFreece of Nebraska City. She was one of two children.

Mary Elizabeth (Adams) Teten

Mary Elizabeth (Adams) Teten, one of three children of William and Luella (Kohrs) Adams, was born October 22, 1938 in Auburn, Nebraska. She was baptized November 20, 1938 at Zion Lutheran Church near Johnson, Nebraska by Rev. Reinsch and confirmed at Zion March 29, 1953 by Rev. Kumpf. Mary attended school in Brock, graduating from Brock High School in 1957. She then went to Dana College and earned a 2-year teaching certificate.

Robert Wayne McCoy

Robert Wayne McCoy, 82, passed away on May 8, 2020. He was born on a farm in Nebraska on April 26, 1938 to Erma and Wayne McCoy. He attended a one-room school with his sister Carol and his brother Bruce and listened to St. Louis Cardinal games as he worked on the farm in the summers. He went on to high school in Tecumseh where he played sports until he contracted bulbar polio at the age of 14. He was in an iron lung when his father was called to the hospital to say goodbye. He was the only one of four boys in iron lungs in his hospital room to recover. He graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1955.

Vicky L. Mahoney

Vicky Lynn Mahoney was born to Harley and Frances (Rieken) Goings, Sr. on July 9, 1955 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. She was raised in Tecumseh and graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1973.
