KENDRA AND JASON MATKINS of Sterling School helped with NASA’s Lucy Mission to collect information on asteroids in the solar system.
Jason and Kendra Matkins, of Sterling, volunteered for a unique mission as they traveled to Colorado and Kansas, to be a part of NASA’s Lucy Mission which was launched to collect information on the Polymele cluster of Trojan asteroids in the solar system. Jason is a high school science instructor at Sterling Public Schools. Kendra is a fifth/ sixth grade math and science instructor at Sterling.
