“It exceeded our expectations and it was the largest amount we’ve ever made,” said Pam Plager, founder of the Plager for A Purpose fundraiser which was started in memory of her husband, Gene. “It’s through these generous donors and supporters that we are able to help others fighting cancer and other major medical illnesses.”
