Maria Garcia De Rojas

Maria Garcia De Rojas, 71, of Tecumseh, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska. She was born to Pedro Garcia Mosica and Antonia Gallegos Izquierdo in Jalisco, Mexico on September 16, 1949. She attended school in Mexico.

Maria was married to Juan Rojas Silos on August 15, 1962 in Torreon, Coahuila, Mexico and they celebrated 57 years of marriage together. Maria was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and being with her family and especially loved her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Tecumseh.

Survivors are her husband, Juan, children, Isidro Rojas, Juan Rojas, Petry Rojas, Conchis Rojas, Maria Luisa Rojas, Angeles Rojas, Estela Rojas and Jesus Rojas and many grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial Services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at the St. Andrew Catholic Church, Tecumseh, Nebraska with Father Ryan Kaup officiating. Pallbearers were Jesus Rojas, Isidro Rojas, Juan Rojas, Sebastian Rojas Chuy Jr. Rojas Luevanos, Adrian Rojas Luevanos and Aldo Reyes Rojas.

Interment was in the St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery, Tecumseh, Nebraska. Online condolences may be left @ www.wherrymortuary.com.
