Larry E. Clark, a 52-year resident of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on Friday, September 11, 2020 in Henderson, Nev. He was born in Tecumseh, Neb. on June 3, 1940 to Herman and Bertha Clark.

Larry graduated from Tecumseh High School in 1958 and then attended Weaver Airline School in Kansas City.

After finishing his airline training, he worked for Frontier Airlines for 27 interesting and enjoyable years until the airline closed. He worked for the City of Las Vegas for several years, then he was able to get back into the aviation field working in the tower and ground operations at the airport on the Nevada Test Site. He then worked for Los Alamos National Laboratory at the Test Site.

Larry retired in 2005 and loved spending the summers in the Colorado mountains exploring the area in his old 1951 Jeep.

In the past, Larry was active in Boy Scouts of America as a troop assistant leader and awards chairman. He also coached Pop Warner football.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mary Lintz Clark; a daughter, Leslie Clark of Idaho; and son, Mike of Tennessee.

He also leaves behind his beloved granddaughters, Jaimie and Kendall (husband, Graig) and the loves of his life, his great grandchildren, Andi and Roderick.
