JCH Physical Therapy Department offers free sports performance camp

TECUMSEH - The Johnson County Hospital Physical Therapy Department is offering a free Reducing Injury Risk and Improving Performance Camp for all 6th-12th grade athletes from area schools. The camp will be held every Monday and Thursday from June 29th-July 30th from 4:15-5:00 p.m. at the Johnson County Central Track located at 358 N. 6th Street in Tecumseh, Nebraska.

SE NE All-Star Games set for June 19th-20th

BEATRICE - Southeast Community College would like to announce the 27th annual Southeast Nebraska All-Star Basketball games on Saturday, June 20th and the 26th annual All-Star Volleyball game on Friday, June 19th. All games will be held at the Truman Center on the SCC-Beatrice Campus.

Successful day on the golf course for JCH Foundation

TECUMSEH - The Johnson County Hospital Foundation had a successful day on Sunday, June 7th without being rained out, even though rainy weather was predicted. According to JCH Foundation Director Michelle Sullivan, a total of 20 teams competed in a 3-man scramble at the Tecumseh Country Club.

Bailey, Murray compete at Jr. High State Track meet

GOTHENBURG - The Junior igh State Track Meet was held on Saturday, May 16th, in Gothenburg, NE. Josh Bailey, an 8th grader from Johnson County Central, made the state track meet in the Discus and Demetrius Murray, a 7th grader at JCC qualified in the Long Jump. Josh placed 7th in the Discus while Demetrius did not medal.

Sterling sends seven to State Track Meet

AUBURN - The rain held off for the most part for the Sterling and ohnson-Brock track teams who participated in the Class D-1 District Track Meet which was held on Wednesday, May 13th. Rain fell on and off towards theend of the day, but the tracksters made the most of the conditions andqualified eight area athletes for the State Track Meet.
