JCC Cross Country

Head Coach Nick Weber Last seasons’ accomplishments: Girls’ State qualifying team; Sam Saldivar - returning State qualifier Coach Nick Weber’s season outlook: “The biggest strength of this year’s team will be experience. We return a total of 7 athletes with experience running at the State cross country meet. Three girls from last year’s state qualifying team are returning and three of the boys from the State team two years ago are returning. We have a total 20 runners this year which is also a strength. The more competition we have in practice the stronger the team will become. Our only weakness may be that we are going to have to rely on some new runners to step up right away and contribute. But, with the leadership we have among the older runners we should be able to overcome this. Samuel Saldivar returns from a very successful sophomore season in both cross country and track.
