Johnson County Hospital campus becomes a tobacco-free environment

As of January 1, employees, visitors and patients at the Johnson County Hospital will no longer be allowed to smoke or use any tobacco products on the hospital’s campus. This includes the hospital area, Tecumseh Family Health Clinic, the Ambulance bay, the parking lots and the house located on the west edge of the property. Employees and visitors cannot sit in their parked cars and smoke; they must leave the hospital grounds. The Johnson County Medical Center and Adams Primary Care are excluded from this policy because they are not on the hospital campus.
